Many of our fans are experiencing issues and confusion with the account associated with their app. Please read below carefully. If the information below does not resolve your issue, please email us at [email protected] for additional support.
Make sure you have the newest version of the app:
Before you proceed creating an account, make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the app and your operating system is up to date.
You can ensure you have the newest version by simply uninstalling/deleting the app and re-installing it through your app store. You can find information on downloading the app here:
What if I had an account in the old app version?
Through the app, you were able to log in to the Gift Store or Come And See Foundation (CAS) and access your accounts, but the app itself did not have a username and password associated with it. As of December 2023, the app now has the ability to sign in with an account. If you don’t have a distinct account for the new app (which you would have had to set-up after December 2023) you need to create a new account for the app.
Why doesn’t my old username and password work?
If you are trying to use a username and password that you have used in the past for your gift store, Angel Studios, or the Come and See Foundation; these credentials won’t work. Keep in mind, this account/username and password is separate from your gift store account credentials. Entering your gift store username and password will not work. You need to set up a separate account.
Is an account mandatory?
The Chosen is completely free to watch, and it always will be. Keep in mind, that you do NOT have to create an account to watch Seasons 1-3 on the app or livestreams. However, if you do create an account, it will give you the ability to:
-Participate in live stream chats.
-Comment on episodes within the community.
-Playback and watch history are synced across devices.
Watching Season 4 in the app is free, but you must be logged in to access the episodes.
The system says my email already exists when I try to login:
If you haven’t already set an account up on the new app, you might receive an error when setting up your account that says:
Please note: the message indicated that it could be the email OR username that is already in use. Most likely you are attempting to set-up a username that already exists on the system (sorry, another user beat you to it). You will need to try a different username (maybe use a variation of what you were trying, add some numbers to the end of it).
Where did all my history go, did you erase my old user data?
Your data is still available for the gift store if you login to the gift store using your gift store account at: https://gifts.thechosen.tv/
